A lion named Kimba escaped from a circus in Ladispoli, Italy and was found roaming among houses. After an initial failed attempt to capture him, authorities successfully sedated and caught the lion after a seven-hour hunt. A video of the lion walking down a road was shared on social media, and a police helicopter using infrared technology helped locate him. The authorities opted to sedate the lion rather than shoot to kill. A man deployed to sedate the lion also shared his terrifying experience.
